"Day of the Week" A Program by Colin Ashworth 1st May 1995 "Day of the Week" is a very simple program written in Visual Basic (Windows). The program will tell what day any date in history fell on, from 1st January 0 AD (You'll have to use your imagination for this one) to 31st December 9999 AD (and this one as well). The program was originally written for my Grandfather who wanted to know on what day of the week he was born. INSTALLATION Simply type A:\Setup.EXE from the run option in Program Manager. (Obviously if you have unzipped the program onto another drive or directory then this should be reflected in the above command line) INSTRUCTIONS "Day of the Week" is very easy to use. 1. To select the month, click on the pull down list box and choose a month. 2. To select a date, simply slide the horizontal scroll bar. 3. To select the year, click on "clear" and input the year using the number keys. To make the year effective, click on the red arrow. The correct day for your chosen date is now displayed at the bottom of the Window. This program is FREEWARE and may be distributed freely.
